Later the MSM chased the numbers and set up the cage match to be between boomers and Gen Y instead. Most of it seemed to be a lot of rehashed stuff we already heard as kids from people our parents age (if they were reactionary dumbasses; not all boomers of course - quite a few boomers were very awesome including my own parents). Including the internet thing, since many of Gen X cut their teeth on things like BBS and USENET and were founding all the dot com shit…
Craig and his list probably played a huge role in the demise of newspapers…ironically, he’s a boomer.
Same with people like Stuart Brand - boomer, and I looked up to him. It’s hilarious to hear boomers blaming Gen X or anyone younger for “internet bad”, LOL.
