Hetfield’s vague agenda of “love, energy and heavy music” ultimately amounts to a refusal to stand for anything meaningful. And that refusal is itself deeply political.

    I’ve said it before. Metallica are the old prejudiced white guys of metal. They’re rich and fly around in private jets. They had all kinds of anti-establishment and anti-war lean in their early music and they have walked back those lyrics to “not really mean what they say” these days. Their concert parking lot tailgaters fly Trump flags, thin blue line flags, Gadsden flags, and and firearms flags. Just like the concert attendees wearing clothes featuring Grunt Style, raggedy flags and punisher logos. Then they tour with performative military rock bands like Five Finger douche punch.

    They were anti-authority metal that grew up, made money, and decided to be the ones holding the batons and riot guns instead. And they sued fans, ruining lives over money that didn’t affect their rich asses one bit.

    Fuck Metallica.

      was like 6 years or so ago, tthey made a big deal about donating 250 grand to a romanian childrens hospital.

      I said that was a bullshit amount that was perfectly calculated to sound like a lot of money to poor people, without being an actual lot of money, and that it was little more than them buying publicity and advertising, because that 250k was a fuckload cheaper than actual advertising cost, but it got them wall to wall coverage.

      and it ended up the money didnt even come from them, it came from mastercard it was just funneled through some charity they supposedly control. So they got all the fame for it, without costing themselves one single goddamn cent.

            Take it you’re fortunate enough to not be a US shitizen? It’s the stupidest shit, EVER! Really started appearing about 20 years ago. Or at least that’s when I really started to notice them? All over the backs of SUVs/Pavement princesses. This was in a shithole, known as, Berks County, PA.

            These days, it’s all over the god damn country. I’m in SEMI, Detroit area, a hotbed for this type of shit. You’ll see a bunch of these fucking losers with jeeps and that shit emblazoned EVERYWHERE. It’s on shirts, flags, you name it!

            These knuckle draggers seem to think it’s like having a FOP (fraternal order of Police) plate/badge/sticker, that it’ll somehow let you break laws and get out of tickets. Back the blue and the laws they stand for! But only for the others! Oh, and when it’s convenient for me!!!

            These people are hypocrites and they don’t stand for a single fucking thing in life. Indoctrinated to Nth degree. They tell foreigners “They need to come here and respect our laws!” Mind you, these people ignore laws, tailgate up your fucking ass for the slightest inconvenience and much worse! They’re in such a fucking hurry to get a cars length ahead! And then guess what! When they get in front of you, they magically find all the time in the world to drive 5-10 under and just act like passive-aggressive, petulant children.

            LOSERS! Every. Single. Fucking. Last. One. Of. Them! Best part, most cops think they’re losers, too! Stickers do nothing unless you’re a hot chick with tits.
