In the final days of the US Senate campaign in Michigan, Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed is leading in polls, winning praise for taking Donald Trump and his Republican opponent to task with incisive humor, and providing a clear closing message in evocative ads.

But his former Democratic primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.), said Friday that while she reiterated this week her decision to support El-Sayed in next Tuesday’s election—a plan not shared by her fiancé, who publicly announced he would vote for Republican former Rep. Mike Rogers—she was demanding concessions from the Democratic candidate, in a statement that sought to tie him to a recent online ad by an outside group.

On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes.

Sorry, Haley, but this strawman crap just isn’t going to work anymore. No one said “Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes.” What they did say is that Trump and Israel’s war on Iran has made prices for Americans go up, which is unequivocally true. Criticism of Israel is not necessarily antisemitism, it’s not going to work, you’re done.

Bullshit like that “disavowal” hinge on the idea that “Israel” and “Jews” are the same thing. Putting the sins of Israel on the Jewish people is fucking blood libel all over again.

(And to be clear, I’m agreeing with this comment. Zionist talking points like that are accusing Jews of blood libel by refusing to distinguish an entire global group of people from the fascist government of one country)

the idea that “Israel” and “Jews” are the same thing

A.k.a. actual antisemitism. It’s the exact same thing as using Islamophobic crap like saying all Muslims are al Qaeda.

Blood libel is no stranger to them, as they accused hamas of beheading 40 babies in 10/7. Biden endorsed it on camera, then never corrected himself. Fucking pieces of shit, then they endorsed the Times fabricating rape allegations against hamas not long after.

No one of good faith believes their bullshit about this anti salmonism, which is how it’s spelt by the way get it right. Semites by the way, are a race of people that includes the Arabs. The Arabs are more semite than the Israelis in fact as they are more european at this point.

Fascinated by how many times you must type antisalmonism for it to autocorrect to that, unless you’re just using it as a substitute for some reason.

Yes, the reason is anti semite is poisoned word used in bad faith to quash dissent, it doesn’t fit their use for reasons stated even the allegations were true and in good faith.

I got anti-salmon from a rage against the machine song.

Don’t underestimate the stupidity of the right. It could definitely work, because it has in the past.

It’s not just the right, I’ve a good hearted client that fell for the attack ads. She said she was’t going to vote for my man El Sayed, then hedged after Obama supported him, she early voted though.
