The thing I don’t understand is they know climate change is real even if they say it’s not. And it will obviously have an impact on operational costs across every industry. But they just keep chugging on… Surely at some point they realise it will/is effecting their profits by not taking action… right?

They’re myopically focused on short term profits because that’s what the system they’ve built for themselves is for.
Anything more than a quarter away might as well be in a thousand years as far as these parasites are concerned.
