We are now at 28.5K users (see https://lemmy.fediverse.observer/list). The top 10 instances also got a decent boost in user count. With the exception of beehaw.org which defederated, the Fediverse is thriving 🔥

          @Confuzzeled I signed up when the blackout started on the 12th I think lots of us where just trying to find a new home and came to whatever was open lol I was on lemmy.ml realized it was crashing then came to lemmy.world and haven’t looked back

          Yes! I’ve been using it very actively every day since I joined, and while it’s not perfect, I haven’t seen any major hiccups, admins are doing a truly fantastic job.
