I don’t care much about Niger itself. They’re grown up. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot with a military dictatorship, so be it.

But Russia is doing a big propaganda campaign in Africa to kill the reputation of France. Granted France did a big part of the job by itself, but still.

I don’t know why Russia is doing that. I guess it’s free real estate for them, seeing how France influence there is flinching for some times now.
