    Is there anything that Discovery won’t completely ruin?

    Must be nice for the devs of The Wolf Among Us 2, though, who are now apparently freed from having to provide any share of royalties to either Discovery or the author.

    But also probably terrifying because this means that any developer can create their own game in that universe.

      Nope, those deals have been inked, so are still in effect.

      It’s just that any future use of the IP can be made by anyone.

        What if they officially shoveled the product, proclaim bankruptcy and sold their company and all assets, transfer all employees to a brand new company owned by the same people?

        I assume there are some limitations that make sure this can happen but there are always loopholes.

          Stopping development of the game without meeting certain conditions might be breach of contract and come with quite a sum, but I’m just guessing at this point. Either way it sounds like it’d be a nightmare in paperwork and would sour their reputation
