And Gavin wants to raise his own profile so that people know who he is and he can skip the introductions should Harris need to pick a VP in the near future.

I know. He’s got more support than trump in some states, it seems. However, his campaign is floundering and he’s losing ground not making it. He’s not a real candidate any more. If he has charisma and ideas, perhaps it could turn around as people learn who he is. He has the opposite effect.
