Except the Geneva convention. Breaking that ends badly for everyone, no matter which side breaks it first.

I hate to break it to you, but Russia crossed that particular Rubicon at Bucha and so many other places already. So first place is already taken

My propaganda? You saying “no red lines” is precisely what a propagandist would say, giving absolutes and not considering trade-offs.

At this point I’m not surprised that dumb people don’t see through such bullshit. People are dumb, simply put.

holy shit kiddo, you are really beging for the downvotes. Maybe take a very deep breath, relax and read again what I have written.

But I also think you should take a break from Lemmy, I mean look at you, one month old account and -400, that’s somehow impressive 😂

Let’s sit down for a moment.

Putin is not going to launch nukes.

Putin is not going to start WW3.

Putin has had every chance to start it already and continued as usual.

Putin is not going to change his mind because of Abrams tanks.

The West can send in all the aid it wants short of combat personnel and nukes, and Putin has no option for stopping it.

Nothing short of an existential threat to all of Russia will change any of this.

If you don’t believe this by this point in the war, I don’t know what else to tell you. He’s had plenty of chances and done nothing but complain. WW3 is not on the table.

You missed one key point. Putin knows that they don’t know which nukes are functioning, and which, due to lack of maintenance, are going to blow up in Russian territory the moment they try to launch. I know Russian roulette is a thing, but they don’t normally have 5 bullets and one empty chamber.
