First off, no one ever deserves to be the target of anyone’s aggression, full stop. Mistakes happen, we should determine how to lower their likelihood and their impact, not punish the ones who already feel the worst about it.

Second off, notice how your example doesn’t match the example I gave and that your point was “what about this thing that wasn’t covered by your example?” Does… does that make sense for you to do?
