Yeah, I’ve just flashed it yesterday. It’s amazing. You can keep most Pixel smarts while yeeting all the ad and tracking stuff. All my apps are working perfectly too unlike microG.
Yeah, the issue with banking isn’t the OS / ROM per se but Google’s trust model. I’d have to dig up the specifics but basically banks are hit and miss with any degoogled solution.
For what its worth, I use GrapheneOS. Aside from some small issues with banking apps and a few odd quirks, I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

I’m currently on Lineage on a Pixel 7, I’m tempted to give Graphene a go though.
As I had issues with one banking app on Lineage, I expect I’ll have problems with that one and possibly more if I make the change
