Are we talking about like, actual transphobes, or the “You’re heterosexual and I’m a trans-woman and you won’t sleep with/date me because I have a dick” transphobes? Because I’ve heard a lot of people be called transphobe for very…non-transphobe transgressions.

I’ve met zero trans people who would actually say that someone is transphobic for not dating trans people. No one is obliged to date anyone. Find a better example of non transphobic transgressions that are commonly called out by trans people and their allies.

Honestly, two of my trans friends have run across this themselves, but…that’s in that particular social circle and not something they believe themselves. Echo chambers exist everywhere. Don’t discount it just because you don’t have anecdotal experience with it. I’ve seen plenty of it myself, but on places like Twitter and it’s difficult to tell if it was satire or a legit view due to Poe’s law.

Additionally, stop jumping to the conclusion that I’m making the argument in bad faith, because I’m not here to troll.

I keep hearing your argument but then I also keep seeing the other thing to much to be a fluke
