Varg of Mayhem Burzum burned a couple churches and killed a bandmate.
I could list other examples, but would like to hear from other people and other music genres.

Eh the early black metal scene was mostly all in good fun until the church burnings started, after that it just became a big dick measuring contest between a few of the bigger figures in the movement to see who could be the most edgy. IMO Euronymous was a cancer on the whole movement and is responsible for why things got as fucked up as they did
