And what sort of monster drinks pop in the morning?

Earliest I can bring myself to drink pop is like, 11:30 maybe

It’s more of an afternoon type drink, no?

Drink green tea, it has more caffeine than coffee.

Energy drinks are not basically soda, they contain, well, a ton of taurine and, well, caffeine, and are even more terrible (in fact, order of magnitude so) for your health, especially cardiovascular system.

Info appears to be varying wildly, but I acknowledge your point, thanks.

Still, tea can be used as an alternative source of caffeine, and it would certainly be better for your health than going all energy drinks.

yerba mate is actually a decent replacement for coffee with the slight problem of it being more bitter than pure caffeine

I don’t drink coffee so soda is how my body gets it’s daily intake of caffeine.

Morning coffee gives me brown teeth. I can’t do all that sugar at the start if the day with pops though.

In some parts of the US is fairly common.

Dr. Pepper instead of coffee in the morning is a thing in Texas.

Like, not everyone does it, but no one bats an eye at it either.
