    Maybe if voters got off their ass in Texas and participated, you’d see some change. 55% of the registered voters didn’t vote in '22. That was after they fucking froze or baked to death because the power grid is fucked.

      Man, I tried so hard to convince folks to vote. Gave everybody links to register, a voting guide, and where they could vote. I tried.

          The margin of victory (in Texas) was actually quite narrow when you consider how many didn’t vote. I’m guessing among the non-participants was at least 1 mil liberals that thought Biden had no chance of winning. This was one of the closest races since 1992 (but that was mainly because of Ross Perot).

        Non-voters aren’t really ‘non-voters’. They’re just voting for “I’ll have what they’re having”.

        I couldn’t imagine throwing away your only voice just to get what you don’t want.

        Edit: Looks like non-voters only vote when it doesn’t count. lol
