      Thanks. Jerboa automatically put it before and after when I clicked the superscript button and I just assumed it was another one of those Reddit/Lemmy formatting differences

      EDIT: turns out it is actually one of those Reddit/Lemmy formatting differences

        You need it on both sides for Lemmy (at least the default interface): ^modern^ ^day^ ^tumblr^ ^is^ ^not^ ^much^ ^better^.
