I know this would vary from locale to locale, but, presumably, there are some animals that do not require a permit to kill (mice in mouse traps, for example). How does this work? Is there a list of “always OK to kill” species?

      Rabbit will be about as easy to kill and have more meat on them. Just don’t eat only rabbit or you’ll have a vitamin deficiency

        Eating a rabbit only diet leaves you lacking fat, not vitamins. I mean probably vitamins too but the lack of fat in rabbit meat is what kills people who feed on it exclusively. It’s called rabbit starvation or protein poisoning.

        It’s a fat deficiency. People in arctic climates who eat only rabbits end up dying from Protein poisoning. Oh, oops, someone already said that.

        That will vary widely. Near me you can kill as many as you want, it’s legal. Now why you wouldn’t eat them is beyond me, since they are delicious.
