    A 3d printer could get you one fairly quickly, but the ATF also wants their money if you do

      I’m okay with spending some money. I’m not okay with the wait time being measured in years.

        I e-filed and it took 3 months. I realize this is shorter than average, but usually the only applications that take over a year or close to it are paper applications.

          I e-filed for the SBR thing when they made my legally purchased brace pistol illegal a year ago. The status of my application hasn’t changed in an entire year.

              Yup! I check every 3 months or so, and it’s still in the pending application section. I just checked again after posting that, and it’s still pending! Do you know if there’s a way to contact them?

          Oh, interesting… I’ve only heard the horror stories of people waiting outrageously long times.
