minus-squaretygerprintslinkfedilink1•8 months agoYes that was pretty dang cool. But, there’s a movie called “A Night to Remember,” made in 1958 before CGI effects and it does pretty much the same thing, only with practical effects (which is quite jawdropping considering when it was made).
I cried in Titanic, when I realized how much I paid to see such a dumb movie. Such a button-pressing people pleasing mediocre film.
To be fair the disaster part was pretty cool.
