Pretty much sums it up to how people do it in North America. Don’t get me started on merging.
I find it’s no help that the roundabouts that I come across usually don’t have a posted speed limit within them (usually 35-40kmh), even when coming in at 60-65kmh. Rumple strips would also help in the pavement to alert drivers to slow down and merge safely.
