minus-squareSpookyAlex03linkfedilinkEnglish33•1 year ago“A pig without 3.14 is 9.8” 3.14 = first few digits of π (pi) “pig” without “pi” is “g” (not math, just letters) g = term for acceleration due to gravity (on Earth) = 9.81 m/s²
minus-squareBibliotectresslinkEnglish8•1 year agoPi is about 3.14 and the acceleration for gravity (g) is 9.8. So a pig without 3.14 (pi), is 9.8 (g).

“A pig without 3.14 is 9.8”
3.14 = first few digits of π (pi)
“pig” without “pi” is “g” (not math, just letters)
g = term for acceleration due to gravity (on Earth) = 9.81 m/s²
Thank you for that. It finally clicked.
Pi is about 3.14 and the acceleration for gravity (g) is 9.8. So a pig without 3.14 (pi), is 9.8 (g).
