I’ve never heard someone use curve in this way, and I’ve been on the internet for quite a while.
Surprise! The Internet isn’t the only place people converse and it’s not homogeneous either.
Yes, but it’s the only place I converse with people whose first language is English.
Which is fine. That doesn’t mean one or the other (curve vs curb) is more correct, English is a living language and as such constantly changes.
