I’m pretty sure npm (node/js) can cause mass mental something. I’m just not sure what it will be, and why it hasn’t happened, yet.

I’m surprised how many are presumed to be stress when so many people show the same symptoms.
My guess for a lot would be social, herd mentality. That probably lines up with your boredom idea too.
