Yes, but email isn’t “media”, while being a medium.

Lemmy & forums are social media.

    Email is not.

However… Mailing lists (where all member have publishing rights) may make me rethink and retract this.

Saying you post on Lemmy/Forums, so it must be social media

Is like trying to argue that raw shit is food, because you can pick it up with a spoon and put it in your mouth.

You are stretching your point so fucking far, that anything from clay tablets to facebook is included under the umbrella, When you and everyone else knows (despite the inability of some to admit it) that social media is a very specific thing, that conjures a very specific idea when you are talking about it, and that very specific idea is generally facebook/twitter, where very specific kind of posts are made, typically linked to your real life face/name/life/business. Posts that you don’t generally make on forums, because when you post on forums you are posting in reference to the topic of the forum, because no one there gives a shit about your fake tits, fake tan or fake vacation picture.

        you fucking retard.

interacting with other people is “social”.

the word “social” isn’t defined by, or have anything to do with holiday photos you spoon.

is content submitted by users as opposed to site owners only? that’s social media.

hopefully you learnt something today, but given what a stupid piece of shit you seem to be, I doubt it.
