If you were open to examples you wouldn’t be arguing in bad faith.

Jokes aside I would really genuinely appreciate any kind of reason to vote for genocide joe over literally anyone else who isn’t a republican. I’ve been trying to brace myself to cast the shitty strategic vote for him, but the more unions he fucks over, the more Palestinian children he bombs, the more he waits to forgive student loans, the more he and other dems refuse to stop literal fascism, etc etc, the more trouble I have justifying voting for a Democrat ever again

There isn’t an answer. You’re looking for the perfect solution but not taking into account that the entire system is broken. The reason I voted for Biden was because the other options would have been much worse. That’s not an admission that Biden is good mind you. The problem is the entire system is broken in the first place.

I fail to see how voting for one of the two parties that keeps going farther and farther right will take things back to the left. Republicans are obviously worse, but the only way I see VBNMW working is if democrats just magically decide to start going left and actually start doing things some day, which won’t happen if they know we’ll vote for them no matter what senile neolibs they offer us

I’m sorry, but can you point to where I said any of that?

Did you have to for me to say it? I want things to get better, not just stay the same or get worse, just saying I see biden and 99% of dems as the latter and I don’t think they’re gonna get better if we just vote for them constantly

Let’s pretend for a second you don’t understand how our elections work: a third party candidate in all of modern history has barely gotten any votes, only enough to hand victory to the Republican. It’s not hard to understand. A third grader would have no problem getting it. Why do you?

Democrats aren’t owed my vote. If they don’t wanna represent the interests of me and other Americans, I’m not gonna vote for them. If you told a third grader they need to vote to support genocide and oppose workers’ rights I really doubt they’d get it as easily as you think

A third grader has to eat their vegetables. They may not like it, but they have no trouble understanding that the vegetables are healthy. Inb4 ‘electing Biden isn’t “healthy”’ yeah no shit, but the options clearly are trump or Biden and there’s no comparing the two.

If you vote any way but blue in an election with trump, you have said to the world, “making a point is more important than consequences” and you will be directly partially responsible if trump is elected. If Trump is not elected, then you can claim you made a point, but the action you took still was reckless and imperiled current and future generations.

The United States of America cannot withstand another term of trump. Israel will absolutely be more emboldened and supported by trump, but really that will be the least of our issues.
