    Is the word “slams” appropriate in this context?

    This is not fucking WWE hell in a cell, this is them fining them for breaking the law.

    A slam would be the “value of the company”, not a small percentage of the money they made off of breaking the law.

    You can fine Amazon $130 million.

    To “slam” Amazon you got to hit them with 130 billion dollars

        Slam, blast, etc. It’s gotten REALLY old and stupid. It also means nothing. “Slam” in this context is at least something tangible. “Slam” in another context could be a critical post on Twitter.

      Should probably be “slaps”. That’s more commonly used when talking about penalties and fines.
