I see older and heavy people struggle to get up into these ridiculously high trucks. These damn things never fit properly in parking spaces and in garages I watch them struggle.

I had a coworker, who was into cars, give me a hard time about getting a Subaru instead of a giant suv or truck. He actually pushed the macho angle. I just said that I only wanted what I actually needed, not some bank account busting status symbol.
