minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•10 months agoOk fair enough. Maybe my 25 years in Dundee and 2 years in Edinburgh inured me to the accent.
minus-square@Mojojojo1993linkEnglish1•10 months agoWho knows. I met very few Dundonians. Mostly people from Edinburgh. But the ones I did meet had mad accents. Maybe it was just them
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•10 months agoHow could you spend 4 years on Dundee and not meet many Dundonians?
minus-square@Mojojojo1993linkEnglish2•10 months agoExactly. Where were they? The pubs the clubs the shops. Everyone. They all were from outside Dundee. We lived in the city centre for 2 years and all the days were filled with students. Was wild.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•edit-210 months agoYou were clearly going to the wrong pubs if you wanted to meet the locals. Drouthy Neebors was the spot.
minus-square@Mojojojo1993linkEnglish1•10 months agoWhere was that. I Googled it and largs came up. The locals we knew lived in the alley behind us. We did not interact with them.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish1•10 months agoI’ve corrected the spelling, sorry. On Perth Road across from art college. Mostly artist, musician, skater crowd.
