Sony really do go out of their way to ever suggest games are coming out on other platforms. Most are coming to PC and Xbox but you’d never know it from these videos. “Being developed for PS5” is the weirdest example.

I’ve noticed XBox have been pulling similar things as well, with the worst offender being Persona 3: Reload. You’d wouldn’t know from the trailers that its on other platforms - even on the website PS only gets a mention in the order section. Its quite annoying that they’re both doing that.

Ha really! I haven’t seen them do it, probably because there aren’t many Xbox releases I’ve been interested in.

I don’t keep a super close eye on XBox but I do watch some of their announcements, just incase. Normally I dislike pulling a “they’re all as bad as each other” but felt it was justified in this case.

Fair enough. My comment genuinely wasn’t anti-Sony snark, I just find it annoying. Often I think, oh I like the look of this game but it would probably be better with a mouse and keyboard, I wonder if it’s coming to PC? And of course Sony never say so I have to look it up. Same with the PSVR2 games.

Nintendo is the only company that can truly get away with it since their games never come out for any other platform. And that’s annoying in its own special way.

Oh I know it wasnt snark, apologies if my replies make you think I assumed that.

I absolutely get where you’re coming from though. Sometimes I do wonder if its down to the developers or even their publishers for allowing MS and Sony to do that with their games. I actually suspect that they pay them for the rights to do it. Which is shitty all in of itself.
