I’m not going to search menus to find the place I was talking about. It was in DC but I can’t remember where it was. However, I went to Five Guys a couple weeks ago. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and regular fry, total was $20 without tip. That’s fast food, so how is a $22 burger at a hipster place so unbelievable?
You’re right, and the thread to me seems full of Boomeresque attitudes. The most expensive burgers I’ve ever had were in Iceland and they were this expensive… But so was everything else. Just about every meal was over $30 there.
