President Joe Biden had conspiracy theorists in a tizzy after posting what appeared to be his reaction to the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win on Sunday night.

“Just like we drew it up,” Biden posted on X alongside a photo of “Dark Brandon,” the meme created by hardcore—and very online—supporters of Donald Trump that Biden and his team loved so much they adopted it as their own.

The post was apparently referencing far-right conspiracy theories which posit the NFL and high-level government operatives conspired to rig the Super Bowl in Kansas City’s favor to give maximum exposure to a yet-to-be-announced endorsement from Chiefs star Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Biden is perfectly functional even if you don’t agree with the specifics. Comparing him to trump is utterly disingenuous. Posting one joke every now and again is a far, far cry from the deranged ranting we see out of trump every day.

The issue isn’t the one joke

The issue is he once again skipped the pregame interview. Despite constant criticism of his mental ability, he never sits down for an interview.

Hell give a 5 minute speech or a quick comment. And usually mix up a couple words.

There’s no primary debate, they’ll be general debate, Biden needs to actually show Americans he can at least hold a conversation, and there was literally no better opportunity than the traditional pregame interview.

But he didn’t do that, and people want me to clap for him like an intern doesn’t run his twitter.

If Trump somehow ends up as the Republican candidate again, we won’t get any coherent general debates anyway. And besides, I only ever hear criticisms about his mental state from right wingers as it is, so I find it hard pressed to care.
