    Well, cool but I don’t think it warrants a 42 minute true crime style whodunit. I guess YouTubers will do anything to milk some content.

    I scrubbed ahead for the tldr… it was some woman named Cathy Jarboe who was a gif artist in the late 90s. She put the skull up on her website. It was later also put up on another site called heathersanimations. A redditor was able to figure this out by looking at the image metadata from the heathersanimations gif from 2004, which indicated Cathy Jarboe was the creator. It can be found on the wayback machine. She also has a bio up on gifartist.com viewable on the wayback machine.

      Thank you for the summary, I too was expecting a 20min video at most, and tried to fast-forward to the actual info.
