The main difference with Reddit is there isn’t an entire instance that’s just porn.

On [email protected] the main feed was originally the only real way to find any communities and it still is for new communities. The problem is the same as what people complain about on the non porn instances. One person will post the same thing in 12 “different” communities resulting in seeing the same post 12 times in a row or some shit.
I put different in quotes because there’s multiple communities that are for the exact same niche with most of them sharing most if not all of the same content.
Ah yes Reddit which famously has only three porn communities, way less than Lemmy!
