Honestly, this was all resolved a bit too easily. Basically Frieren said “What are you doing, nobody cares anymore” and he was like, “yeah, you are probably right” and that was it. I wonder if this chapter is mainly meant to be foreshadowing some of the unrest/problems that might be waiting for them in the Imperial Capital. Hopefully now that our group knows about the highway, they can speed up their travel a bit (once they get to it).
