I’m guessing the human ones as you’ll need to hold them until they’re strong enough to hold up their own heads. Maybe then you switch to the horse ones for convenience

The human half of a baby centaur would be born further developed than a human baby. It wouldn’t have the same size and brain limitation that we do. It would probably still be an idiot compared to an adult, but it would at least be able to hold itself upright like a toddler.

I don’t see that happening. Do you have any idea how much a horse, even a baby one, weighs? It’s not likely a mother centaur is strong enough to carry her baby to breastfeed it.

I think if it was the only way, centauri women would have an evolutionary advancement in the muscles of their upper body. Like kangaroos that are used to carry their kids in a belly pocket. And kangaroos punch like a motherfucker.

It would be funny to see all centauri women be built like MMA fighters and men be thin like a matchstick.

Yep. And if they take this route, then the top body would have flat chests. That’s not how many pictures centauri women, but I guess they’d have way less stress looking for a fitting bra.

That’s what I envision; they lay down and hold the human part just like we do now and maybe the colt part stands or lays in a way that helps
