Ugh, these were funny till a sovcit murdered a process server here in KC yesterday. He was just serving an eviction notice, had nothing to do with that guy’s problems, literally shooting the messenger. These leave a bad taste now.

Edit: Disregard all of that. I was misinformed until someone can find the source my husband was reading. Sorry everyone.

Edit 2: Found what he was referencing. It was someone on Reddit… Link for the curious, but there’s nothing substantial Sorry again.

What? Do you have an article? Shit that is awful.

It’s still perfectly plausible. Lots of them get process servers.

I mostly post these here for humour, but it’s also a little bit so people learn what dangerous fringe beliefs look like.

Oh of course. I’m still happy to laugh at the insanity. I don’t think we should stop laughing because some of these people go to the dangerous extreme. I was just throwing that piece of data into the convo

It does seem oddly specific enough to be true, but I hate that I put it out there like it was fact.

I’ll bet you’re right though. There was a case just like it last year too.

That article doesn’t say anything about the gunman being a sovcit. He might be, but I didn’t get that impression from that article

Sovcits are definitely the type that would do this shit though

I just grabbed the first article that came up about the guy getting killed. There are loads of others.

Wait, how do you know the murderer is a sovcit? I didn’t see anything about it in the article. I’m not saying he’s not, I’m just curious.

My husband told me when he was reading about it yesterday…

        Now I can’t find anything about it…

Why does my mouth taste of shoe?

Edit: Found what he was reading. It was a Reddit comment…. Dubious source to say the least. Apologies.

Do you feel bad for cops who get (rightfully) killed while carrying out unjust laws? You don’t get to have your cake and eat it, too. A person doesn’t get to align themselves with the state against the people and then claim victimhood when they suffer the consequences of class betrayal.

If you feel the laws are unjust, the effort should be on changing the law, not liking the people enforcing them. Who gets to decide which laws are unjust?

I feel bad for people who are killed. Full stop.

They may have deserved to be killed for some reason or it may have been necessary but it still sucks.

This. You can dislike someone and still recognize that a thing is sad, and that the people who loved them are suffering.

Not touching the extremist “everyone aligned with the state should die” argument. I have enough things to make me angry in my life, I don’t need to pull out a broad generalization that’ll anger me whenever I speak to my mailman.
