I need to get up without waking the wife and kids, I got a smartwatch to vibrate and it woke her. The alarm is always going to wake the house.

Is there anything else?

  I’d use my bedside light and hopefully get up before it wakes her

  OP could put up a divider or something to block the light (or their wife could wear a sleep mask).
