Neat, are they going to winterise them? No? Are these different batteries, or fed by different renewables, than the ones they wanted to blame for the outages?
I’m glad there’s more battery capacity being built, but it’s hard not to be sarcastic about Texas even when it’s good news.
It’s not sarcasm if it’s a valid question. If they’re winterizing the new equipment is absolutely a valid question - otherwise the new batteries that we’re reading about & their capabilities mean nothing during a particular time of the year when they’d be very desirable…given Texas’s abysmal track record of doing that very important thing.
