minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink3•1 year agoFinding a good source for most of it being vegan is hard, the best I’ve found so far is Healthline claiming “The form of taurine used in supplements and energy drinks is usually synthetic, meaning it’s not derived from animals.” And Monster energy is definitely synthetic taurine according to their faq.
