My mom bought my brothers and I a Nintendo 64 one year, but our TV didn’t have RCA jacks. Fortunately my dad was a nerd and spliced the video cable to once of those Atari adapters that you screwed to the back of the TV. We didn’t have audio for the first two years we owned the console lol.
Yeah I remember getting all excited the day we had a TV with a RCA/AV jack and thought, damn I’m going all kinds of hi-def now!
