You do understand that the headline literally contraindicates your hot take, don’t you? I’m infuriated by the actions of Republicans in the current political era as much as the next rational human is, but you’re just sinking into tribalism with that quip.

Make fun of shit that deserves to be made fun of. Rationally consider the shit that deserves to be rationally considered.

The survey compared those who watch Fox with those who watch neutral outlets like CNN. Those getting news from Fox were 100% planning to vote for Trump. Those watching neutral outlets had a minority who would not.

Changing media diet makes a really big difference

“neutral outlets like CNN”…listen, I’m all for shining as much light as possible on the disgrace to journalism that is Fox “News”, but CNN is about as neutral as sulfuric acid.

This. NPR is even left leaning (I’m progressive), but Reuters and AP News, more often than not, seems the least bias - least.

Yes! AP and Reuters are great! Those two basically comprise my entire news feed, supplemented by a handful of other sources that fall on either side of center (bias-wise).

You gotta tell them to go out and get more fresh air. It’s unhealthy to watch too much TV. It’s the same thing they told us when we were kids. It’s time to play that Uno reverse.
