Mine has to be Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime, a DS spin off of the Dragon Quest series that sees you playing as a slime operating a tank and rescuing the people from your town. You run around the overworld, collecting items to use as ammunition and saving money to upgrade your tank. The art and music are just as great as you’d expect from the Dragon Quest series. It made fantastic use of the DS’s dual screens. It’s also written for a younger audience, so a lot of it is just really silly and fun! Try it out for sure, I’m so sad there’s no sequel :(

Alundra kicked ass, but I’ve still never beaten it… Its one of those games I start, put down, then have to start again. Any game starting with an anime opening is almost guaranteed gold.

Don’t know if you’re aware, but it just got a randomizer last year!

Holy shit, I had no idea there was an Alundra rando now! That’s fantastic news. I’ll hafta do a few runs. It’ll be nice to have a new way to experience the game after so long. Thanks!

You just introduced me to a completely new concept to me and like magic, made my one of my all time favorite games (and a bunch of others) unbelievably more replayable. I was fine with only playing it once or twice a decade, but I guess I gotta play it more now.

Yeah I stumbled upon that after plunging into this newfound rabbit hole. How did I not know about this, I play like 99% old games. Thanks for the link anyway. This is so amazing.
