Does lemmy.world have a signature system, or are you doing it by hand? It’s a bit jarring because this isn’t a traditional forum.
Also kind of gives me the vibe of those “you can’t steal my data because I declared it” Facebook posts. If someone’s gonna scrape your shit and shove it into an ai, a signature won’t stop them.

I thought it was an advertisement, like “hey guys you should use this license in your works.”
That makes a lot more sense. The end result is probably the same though. Like sure, now you have grounds to sue if they steal your stuff but good luck with that.
