It’s not clear in the article, nor logically, whether those death threats mostly came from the left. Right wingers tend to be a lot more willing to death threat (though we do have crazies on the left) and there have been accusations that the governor was trying to politically damage Trump and is a left wing plant.

I definitely agree that death threats are fucking awful regardless of who they’re aimed at and by.

Nor if the threats are even real. Frankly, I don’t believe them. What were the threats that they were so specific and imminent that they cancelled their fund raiser? What agencies are investigating these threats? I reserve judgement until I learn more about these threats and the investigations surrounding them, but I suspect that the GOP leadership knew the fund raiser was going to flop because of Noem so they chose to cancel it under the guise of these threats so they could play the victim.

Animal activists such as PETA are known for threats and acts of violence.

Many don’t consider them to be right wingers.

Mmhmm. Which ballot is PETA trying to get on, again?

PETA. Those people who tell you how to live because of their morality? Who judge those outside their group as inferior? Who are horrible hypocrites who murder animals while espousing the opposite? People consider them leftists?

And you think those people are correct enough to give voice to their opinion.

There’s a pipeline of people that go from granola to fascism. And that pipeline runs right through PETA.
