Right wingers tend to be a lot more willing to death threat (though we do have crazies on the left) and there have been accusations that the governor was trying to politically damage Trump and is a left wing plant.
I definitely agree that death threats are fucking awful regardless of who they’re aimed at and by.
Nor if the threats are even real. Frankly, I don’t believe them. What were the threats that they were so specific and imminent that they cancelled their fund raiser? What agencies are investigating these threats? I reserve judgement until I learn more about these threats and the investigations surrounding them, but I suspect that the GOP leadership knew the fund raiser was going to flop because of Noem so they chose to cancel it under the guise of these threats so they could play the victim.

I would say that the pipeline of left to right is through communism, not PETA, although my wife’s vegan cousin has become explicitly pro-hamas in the last 6 months, so you may have a point.
