      Christians have a long history of killing heathens and heretics. See the Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch trials, etc. Defy the church and get tortured to death, burned at the stake, or stoned.

      Yeah this has been a thing. Scott Lively was involved in the Uganda anti gay laws. He’s a real piece of shit, he was involved with the Oregon Citizens Alliance back in the 80s and 90s. This Republican asshole in the article is a real shithead, too.
