Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu expressed support for “voluntary immigration” of Palestinian civilians out of Gaza - the latest coalition lawmaker to suggest such a move.

In an interview on Israeli news site Ynet on Monday, the minister was asked about his support of the proposed transfer of Gazans out of their homes. “This isn’t a transfer,” he replied. “We are talking about a desire to improve the living situation of Gazans…the ones that refuse to live in these conditions.”

Eliyahu’s comments elicited laughter from the reporters in the studio, who joked, “Right, right, as if not having a parking spot or an elevator…” The Otzma Yehudit lawmaker also laughed before responding in a more serious tone: “You have taken it to a specific extreme, I took it to a different place. But what we are suggesting is really voluntary immigration.”

But what we are suggesting is really voluntary immigration.

The next suggestion will be involuntary immigration. They want their own Trail of Tears it seems.

It’s already forced relocation and qualifies as a crime against humanity by the UN definition…

They’re bombing areas, telling people to leave for a safer area, bombing that, and now saying they should leave the whole country.

To be more specific, it’s an ethnic cleansing, which is really just a PC term for genocide.

Gotta be honest, I’ve never heard the term “ethnic cleansing” described as PC. Pretty sure it’s used interchangeably with genocide.

Technically it’s different. Genocide is an attempt at violent eradication, a ethnic cleansing is an attempt to remove an ethnicity by force but not necessarily violence. Ie. They’re could be a nonviolent ethnic cleansing but there can never be a nonviolent genocide.

I couldn’t help but think of you as an evil dictator for knowing the difference. Like someone explaining the difference between a pedophile and hebephile. I swear I’ll take the new knowledge to heart.

“We are talking about a desire to improve the living situation of Gazans…the ones that refuse to live in these conditions.”

The living conditions that they imposed on them.

What next, load them up into cattle cars for the trip? If irony died when Kissinger got the Nobel Peace Prize, then this is surely desecrating the corpse.

So he’s proposing a right of return for Palestinians?

Living in their ancestral home of Israel would certainly be nicer than getting bombed in refugee camps.

…so did the Nazi’s, right before they decided it was all too hard and it was easier to gas them.
