Sounds less like a handheld and more like a Marvel villain, but at least the hardware’s intriguing.
For software, the Claw is running Windows 11
Nah, I’m good
So to recap: Small screen, no trackpad, power-hungry cip, and win 11… nice.
Yeah when they said there are two things I need to know, I assumed they would list the OS but a Windows handheld is not something I would ever be interested in. Surprised more companies aren’t just using Proton.
That’s because they’d need to use Linux, possibly having to develop drivers of their own and keep those up. Or it could limit their choices for components. Perhaps even having to develop their own distro. Windows is the best option for them from a business point of view.
Should we rename the Deck: Mr. Gadjet??
The claw was the way of playing Monster Hunter on the PSP
I always just left trigger spammed to either center the camera or lock onto the monster. The claw always seemed a great way to give yourself some kind of RSI.
Yeah, nah, the most important thing is that it’s running Windows.
I couldn’t find that in the article, thanks. Where did you find that?
The last thing I want my devices to remind me of is the old days, getting a case of the Claw from gripping the arcade stick for too long.
Those are painfully happy memories.
