You might be thinking how could this bullpup pan-fed automatic pistol possibly be worse. It is also a blow forward design. Meaning the barrel physically moves forward to operate the gun each shot. This significantly increases recoil, and in theory decreases accuracy.
From what I’ve read it’s chambered in .22 Magnum. Not a lot is written about this prototype. Presumably after making one better judgement finally caught up with its inventor.
It has sights. I don’t know how you are supposed to use them. Maybe you’re supposed to hold your arm straight out and shoot it like that.
Its pan magazine is held together with a hose clamp. Arguably the best feature on this gun is it takes standard AR-15 grips.

Random video of Japanese guy messing with one: [1:00] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RmKHPAeCe0 This video might be of a replica based on their others but it demonstrates some of the mechanics. Any Japanese speakers willing to help me know what exactly is going on there would be appreciated.
Looks like a good way to burn your arm, or get a sleeve caught in an action
For a few solid seconds my brain thought the pan magazine was just a dish you could dump ammo into and it would magically align it and shoot them. The run-and-gun on that would be fun.
I really enjoy seeing these concept weapons.
Also, I didn’t realize that “forgotten weapons” is a video channel as well. That’s cool. I’ll be watching the videos now too.
Thanks for sharing.
If you enjoy weird concept stuff you’ll definitely have a fun time over on the channel.
Second link just goes to YouTube, not a specific video
Fixed, got into a habit of sanitizing links and cut off the important part of one that didn’t have anything to sanitize. Should work now.
I think a modern reworking of this mounted to some vambraces securely mounted to the arms could be properly evil in very confined spaces.
Well can see where the Fallout franchise got inspiration.
Reminds me of that “Revolver” in Cyberpunk 2077…
Artistically cool to look at, but not very practical in terms of handling
This significantly increases recoil, and in theory decreases accuracy.
I don’t think you can make this gun any less accurate.
