Certainly not breaking new ground with the whole “kicked out of the hero’s party” premise.
I don’t even dislike the premise of someone being wronged by a person of power or influence in the world like this, but it’s always done so poorly. I’d love a well written story where the protagonist wasn’t a god in human form and the world wasn’t just whatever the writers favorite mmo is.
