As a person who’s been in a Little Caesar’s, can confirm. That’s why the pizzas are so cheap, you must escape a liminal space first
if the space serves a purpose (must be escaped from) is it liminal any more and is actually now a locus?
I get it’s referencing the back rooms, but I don’t get why. No location I’ve ever been to looked anything like that.
I think the joke is that nobody ever actually enters LC. They just order from there. So there would be no way of knowing if it was actually secretly an entrance to the backrooms

The door to the back is a portal to the elemental plane of pizza. Employees dip into the back to slay a pizza elemental and harvest its crust whenever they run out of dipping sticks.

People order delivery from little Caesars? I didn’t even know they had delivery.
For real. They’re going to get a $5-$6 pizza delivered to them for $15-$20? Are they nuts? Go get real food.
They partnered with DoorDash a few years ago, and its one of those one driver=multiple stops things. Which means your pizza is usually cold by the time it gets to you.
Every LC I’ve ever seen is takeout only… You have to go inside to get the pizza
I remember in-store dining at Little Caesars in the '90s but nowadays all the ones I know of are takeout only.
This could have been an episode of Reply All, from their “Yes, yes, no” segment. It would go down the Backrooms rabbit hole and back up reminiscing about cheap Little Caesar’s.
The only ones I have ever been in were just a counter and a clearly visible kitchen behind it with no walls separating them.
the best ones were the ones inside of super kmart, you could actually eat in there or buy by the slice.

Little caesars is just greese and cardboard. Their dough is cardboard, the sauces are greese, the menu is colored greese on cardboard, the windows are cardboard.
